Final Group Digipak

Here is the final digipak that my group decided was the most successful as it is clear for our R&B demographic who are artist is trying to appeal to. We have followed a colour theme of red, black and white which portrays an edgyness to the star and doesnt really follow a conventional pop star who would stereotypically be using the colour pink. We have tried especially to show off the fact that the artist is signed by Roc Nation (Jay Z's company) which is a majorly successful and helps to grasp and engage their fan base as the company has managed stars such a Rihanna and other very popular artists of the R&B genre which encourages the audience of Roc Nation to be intrigued by our star. Also when deciding on what we was gonna use

as our final designs; we knew that we wanted to use close up's of the artist to familiarize the star with fans but keep the look basic, which we felt these gave the most balanced and professional look that we are trying to portray.

We decided that to keep the theme looking continious that we decided to use the drafts that consisted of red and black and showed our artist in the best posible way. I feel that this helps to engage our audiences attention as the colours are dramatic and the font shows two sides of the artist as some stand out with a bold graffiti font which is a conventional look for a R&B artist, whereas the swirly font shows a more innocent approach and goes against the stereotypical which makes our artist unique- which could be used as a trademark look.

We used photoshop to overlay, some of the effects of the digipak and also by calling the album 'Wonderland' called be a metaphor for the unknown journey of which the artist is about to go through and creates a magical vibe to the album, which would initially consist on a Pop digipak, so I feel their is a range of conventions from a Pop and R&B video.

Level 2- The group digipak demonstrates a basic understanding of photoshop skills and creativity, which is evident through the use of slide designs, fonts, images and colours
